MISSION STATEMENT

At Destin Pathways LLC, our Non-Centered Based Day Support program aims to help individuals integrate into a community setting, develop healthy relationships, and improve their coping skills. This, in turn, enhances their socialization skills for better interaction with others  

Destin Pathways LLC offers Non-Centered Based Day Support services to individuals who have been diagnosed with DD/ID and Mental Illness. Our approach is person-centered, and we strive to identity community resources and activities that promote socialization skills, making them active members of their community. Our services are designed to benefit persons residing in rural areas by connecting them with resources and activities in the Hampton Roads area. We focus on enhancing community integration, socialization, recreation, leisure, health, and safety for all. 

Our scrvice aims to empower persons by helping them acquire, retain, and improve the skills necessary for positive social behavior, interpersonal competence, greater independence, employability, and personal choice. With our assistance, the people we serve can access typical community activitics, such as cducation or training programs, and volunteer opportunities that are enjoyed by the general population.  

Community Coaching is a valuable service that offers personalized support to individuals who require one-on-one assistance in utilizing the resources available within their community. This service aims to empower person by equipping them with the necessary skills to develop positive social behavior,

interpersonal competence, greater independence, employability, and personal choice. By doing so, they can participale in typical activities want the community, such as community education or training. and volunteer activities, just like any other member of society.

Our services are available to individuals between the ages of 18 and 65, who have been diagnosed with ID/DD and have a mental health diagnoses and reside in the Hampton Roads Communities. 

There will be a 1:3 ratio for community engagement and I:1 for community coaching, Staff will report to work 8:30 am- 4:30 pm Monday- Friday.
